Look for an announcement in the next 24 hours,” he tweeted.Petro then tweeted that he has confirmation – Beaty is out.“More confirmation. David Beaty is out as the Head Coach at Kansas. You can’t just move the ball down the field, you have to get in the end zone, get points on the board. We simply didn’t do it,” he told reporters.Beaty took the blame for today’s loss, placing everything on his shoulders.Beaty, 48, has been Kansas’ head coach since 2015. The Jayhawks are 6-38 during his tenure leading the Kansas program.Kansas went 0-12 in year one, 2-10 in year two and 1-11 in year three. The Jayhawks are off to a 3-6 start so far this season.Petro is reporting that former LSU head coach Les Miles could be a candidate for the Kansas job, too. This isn’t surprising – Miles has been mentioned by several college football writers as a possible candidate for the job.Stay tuned for an official announcement on Beaty and his firing at Kansas.
